Jack Clarke

Exactly , CLARKE had two choices (that are known).
All I'm saying is that he's a grown man, yes he'll have been 'advised' but ultimately he will have made his OWN decision on what he believed to be in his best interests.
Yes, players have their representatives but at the end of the day it's the players signature on a contract - it's their decision.
Players are different.

Some have a good head on their shoulders and realise an agent is there to advise but is their employee.

Some are a bit thick and are totally under the control of their agent.

I wouldn't know which category Clarke falls under?

I personally think he made a pretty poor choice. He should have held out for an established premier league side.

Agent interested only in getting the most beneficial financial outcome for himself and his client. That goal was achieved.

Utter bollocks you pathetic shite. The lad was the ultimate professional till the day he left. We were a better club and team with the lad here.
Hard to say, without knowing what he was actually like as an employee, whether or not we were a better club with him on the books. As things stand, we were probably a better team with him in it, but there is always the argument that we relied too much on him &, once things settle, we'll become a better team without him.

It's a career when money will always come if you're a good player.

It's more important to make the correct choice for your long term goals and happiness.
Have to say (as an 'outsider' looking in), I disagree.
Always looked the perfect professional to me, right up until his leaving
She's a clueless mag. Hardly in a decent position to know.

I think they’re a Newcastle fan being silly. You’re right, he worked hard in every game
Some of you really can't handle the thought of someone moving to a club perceived as being smaller.
They’re in the league above but no it must be money or held hostage by his agent

Clarke was a good servant.
He has gone to a smaller club for more money to play at a higher level.

Personally I'm not arsed in the slightest as to whether it's a good or bad move for the lad or whether Ipswich stay up or go down or how much game time he gets.

He's gone and we have seen a promising start from the lad that has replaced him.

Time to move on.
