New Music Releases Thread

Bit of a plug for my mates new album out tomorrow, his 8th solo album. Have posted about his stuff before on here and a few have liked what they heard.

Couple of songs from the album are on Spotify already.
 

Hopeful that Tindersticks new one will be good. The songs I've heard from it, especially Always A Stranger make it my most anticipated release.
Beside that will also be check out Julie - My Anti-Aircraft Friend. Heard some of it and they obviously like My Bloody Valentine.

Turned it off after the first track. As bad as I can remember when I saw them live. Not for me at all and I'm a bit baffled by the hype around them. Lots of bairns at that gig though so maybe it's not aimed at me.

Really enjoying that Magdelena Bay record. Reminds me a fair bit of Tennis which is always nice. That new Los Bitchos one is decent enough as well.

Few good releases tomorrow as well. Looking forward to Porches, Floating Points and Julie Dawson. Might give Nilufa Yanya a go as well though I thought the last record was a bit of a dud after a brilliant debut.

Its a good listen. A bit of Mike Scott about him, which is a good thing.
 
There are new albums this week from Blossoms, Bright Eyes, FIDLAR, Future, Jake Bugg, Jamie XX, Joan As Police Woman, Julian Casablancas & the Voidz, Kate Pierson, Katy J Pearson, Katy Perry, Keith Urban, Manu Chao, Midland, Nelly Furtado, Neon Trees, Nightwish, Nubya Garcia, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Pale Waves, Sunset Rubdown,The Waeve, Thurston Moore, Tim Reaper & Kloke, Ed Schrader's Music Beat, Photay, Nonpareils, Lice, Erland Cooper, Beautify Junkyards, Lutalo and John Murry & Michael Timmins.

I'll be catching up with these and last week adter the weekend.
