Surely someone sent the "sausage upside down" videoYou must be logged on to see media items
Funnily enough they all asked who the hardest teammate was and a few said RiggHe reminds me of the level of Wayne Rooney was at when he broke through at 16 at Everton
He could be that good which is like a generational one off thing. Clubs will be circling now.
Whether he’s here or elsewhere just hope to see him fulfil the potential and see how far he can go.
I don’t think people understand how f***ing young he is and how comfortable he looks playing against fully grown blokes.
Luckily he’s hard as fuck. You’d simply have to be at 16/17 to compete with adults physically
That's it, think most fans have been itching for this game Saturday, I've been using the 21's to fill the void.Best thing I can say about the lad and several of these young uns at the minute is that I cannot wait for the next game
It’s great talking footy with people you know and having a positivity not often associated with following safc
Whatever happens -we are in a good position with Chris Rigg and he with us
After all not long ago the doom merchants were saying “ he wont sign for us -he will be off to the Mags -and the usual -“enjoy him while you can ( that greets any player who looks good for us ) as he will be off soon “
Well he didn’t and hasn’t and I’m looking forward to seeing what happens -we have him contracted and he is clearly loving it -he may go eventually but will cost if he does -in the meantime….”Chris Rigg ole ole ole !! “
Absolute clown if he goes anywhere near Chelsea. Might aswell kiss goodbye to whatever career he could potentially have nowYou must be logged on to see media items
Nowt new, both teams wanted before he signed his 3 year contract. You must be logged on to see media items
The kids switched on, so he'll keep his feet on the ground , if the money goes mental we won't have much choice , looking forward to him improving , he'll be dropped/rested soon and it'll be interesting to see how the new boys doYou must be logged on to see media items

He’s always wrong mate, gets told that on every thread
You’ve literally been proven wrong over and over again on this thread but you simply can’t admit it man ya whopper.
I’m happy to admit when I’m wrong, been wrong many times on here. That’s the difference though, I can admit it, you’d rather be a child.
Putting it into perspective for folk. If he leaves Sunderland before the middle of June (I.e. whilst still only 17) and we get £25m for him, then he will become the most expensive 17 year old in football history. Period. The record for an 18 year is only about £45m. People thinking we will get north of £25m for him if he leaves in the summer or even as early as January are not good bedfellows with reality. Best we can hope for in January / summer will be £20-25m plus 25% sell on, and hope he goes somewhere like Dortmund who will development and then sell him in a couple of years to a massive club for over £100m. The worst financially for the club would be if he does a Henderson and joins a massive club for £25m and stays there for the rest of his career.Well just wait wait and see it’s no good laughing it’s an opinion
People saying he’s going to go for 80 million etc are in for a right shock.
Let’s just remember people thought we were going to be pulling 40 million plus for Clarke etc this season. We know how that ended.
Neil was about number 7, Jobe was number 3, Rigg was number 1. Cirkin was one of 3 not chosen but worthy of a mention before he unveiled Rigg as number 1.You must be logged on to see media items
Haven't watched this yet but it'll clearly be Rigg and a few more of ours
Real Madrid signed Endrick and Vinicius at 16 for more than €45m each, same with Rodrygo aged 17. Mbappe moved to PSG at 18 for €180m, although was stated as a loan for FFP reasons until a year later.Putting it into perspective for folk.
