Apologies as that does read badly.

I meant that some posters who were affiliated with the SO37 group are not in favour of This Is Wearside presenting a Remeberance Day display.

Irritates me but I also get upset by Pancake Day (Shrove Tuesday) and Fireworks Night (Guy Fawkes Night).

I know that the lads & lasses running TIW are doing their best to put on some brilliant displays and the organisers of SO37 are fully behind them.

Not surprising the silly bastards would like us to forget it. Probably still ashamed.


But anyway, the point of Remembrance Day is to remember the fallen, rather than the conflicts.

As I’ve posted earlier, always loved your displays (Cats Eyes especially) and really hope that TIW can get them off the ground again.

You probably don't remember our last conversation :) There was a delay with the T-shirt, finally got it (with gifts may I add, thanks ALS), it is brown, as you said, but I can live with that. So much so I ordered 2 more for myself and 1 for me sister who lives in Gateshead, doesn't follow football, but is a proud mackem. I'm hoping she'll wear it.

5000th game in the EFL & This afternoons display:

We’ve collaborated with the club to celebrate a major milestone in the clubs history..

We’ve created a massive 5000 across the east stand in red and white!.

We kindly ask all supporters in the east stand to have your plastics to hand ready for the players exiting the tunnel.

If we can all hold them up until after the players have shook hands and began taking their places..

Then please TUCK ALL PLASTICS BACK INTO THE CHAIRS

We kindly ask as we only have 1 day to collect them all ready for another display (
