Jack Clarke

I said this the minute he left.

We were far too reliant on him and we're already looking far more dangerous on the right and through the middle since he left.
To be fair that was never his fault…. But it did end up like that. Need to remember the Sheffield Wednesday game … he looked like a member of an organised team rather than a lone talent. He needed however to move on and so did the team. Everyone wins.

People writing Clarke off at Ipswich already after a couple of incomplete appearances.
This board man.
I think that game against the Mags has swayed a lot of people’s opinions of Clarke. He was poor in that game but so was everyone else and Trippier was excellent. The derby game does not define him however and I see no reason why he can’t be a success in the Premiership.
I think the move was good for all sides as Mundle is now showing what he can do and young Watson , in my opinion , will soon make everyone forget about Clarke .

It's weird that people forget the two games against Fulham where he scored in each

Absolutely.

Maybe it was to do with Dodds and Proctor, who knows. But it definitely played out that way.

4 games in and we're getting promoted and Jack Clarkes career is finished.

Nail on head.

We’ve had a class start but suddenly everyone who offered fair criticism last year is suddenly being called a fanny again, we are much better off without clarke, Rigg is better than Jude Bellingham and we aren’t losing a game all season.

People have such short memories.

And he nearly scored and did the full back a few times.

Did not think in the slightest he would flop in that cameo
Did he? I wasn’t watching tbf but good for him. Hopefully gets more minutes going forward.

I was too busy watching us obliterate Portsmouth.

Agree, he’s proven that. However I’m also very confident he’ll prove himself a very good premiership player too. Or at the very least that he’s capable of making a good career at that level
Time will tell I suppose. He couldn't lay a glove on Trippier though sadly

you may be proved right about his premier league credentials, but I don’t see that being with Ipswich. They’ll spend too much time defending to get the best from Clarke.

Watch their goals and City and Fulham. Clarke should do well in a team that create those types of chances
