Milan Aleksic - Confirmed

He's already starred in Europe this season and is also about to become a full Serbian international, with their manager Dragan Stojkovic regularly raving about him. It'll take him some time to adapt to the Championship but, as much as we're looking at him as one with potential, the club are probably expecting him to make an impact quickly this season too due to the fee we've paid and the pedigree he already has.
Yeah, all of the reports are good and I hope that they end up being true but I don't think he can be describe as a "brilliant signing" right now.

I may end up being very wrong but we've all been burned by words before so I'd prefer to wait and see what he does on the pitch for myself before making such claims.

What I liked mostly from the footage shown is that he plays with his head up, and even plays the passes with his head up like he's knows where the ball is at his feet, he's doesn't need to look down.

"Starred" calm down now. He's played 2 games in the UEFA conference qualifiers and his team were knocked out by Mornar, from the Montenegrin league, who are probably league 1 standard at best.

Yes it looks like he's going to get a run out for the Serbs this week to try him out, that says more about where the Serb team is, rather than if he's ready to play championship pace football regularly. We saw from this last Euros how slow the pace of international football is and how low the quality was, there were teams with plenty of lower league players.

The owners have expected a lot from many of their foreign signings, yet most of them have struggled to gain a place in the starting 11 which is practically all British/Irish. They also expected Rusyn, Ba, and Bennette to make an impact.

I won't get carried away with the hype and I'll be pleasantly surprised if he breaks into the team regularly this season and has an impact. I think it very much remains to be seen if he can adapt to this level quickly or not until he's older.

What on earth are you on about man? Where exactly was the negativity in what I said?

I actually said he wasn't a bad signing.
I don't even reply to him anymore, he just attacks you personally and doesn't contribute anything to the debate. Tedious.

The lad scored the winner with an 18 yard diving header in the first leg and then equalised with a great goal from outside the box with the last kick of the game in the other. With the Serbian press saying he was the best player for his team in both games. I'm not sure how an 18-year-old doing that doesn't count as "starred".

If Rigg or Jobe did that the amount of cum produced would impregnate every woman within 200 miles of Sunderland.

Got any footage mate?

I think he's still sore from when I called him or making a story up about him getting great service from the ticket office on a thread where an SAFC fan was having genuine problems with his son's ticket.

Ignore him mate. He's just one of these negative posters who tries to kill any positivity

It's probably more accurate to say that the last Euros showed how slow the pace of English football was.
A lot of the games were really good to watch, with a lot of the "smaller" teams really going for it at times.
