Milan Aleksic - Confirmed

Serbia think he is ready for international football - they aren't that impressive a national team but they do produce good midfielders and forwards. I think this lad will play but may need a bit of time for cultural, language and physical adjustment.

Engine room looking good. Games are won and lost there as it contributes to both defence and attack. Here's hoping the lads can improve our transition in both defence and attack which has for some time been a major weakness in our game. Big ask for Mundle and I'd still love to have seen us sign an old fashioned Vic Halom style centre forward. My only worry now is the the time it it takes to bed them in.

Imagine Wee Phillie being down there, showing us nowt but going..

“It’s ermmm, it’s Alekich. He looks like he’s blowing out candles on a birthday cake and he is now standing in complete darkness not moving”

Or just before he blew out the candle, Wee Phillie slowly descended upside down from the ceiling behind Aleksic. Microphone still in hand.

Even better, the scarf flips up and Wee Phillie is sitting under the table smiling to the camera

Wish he'd gone down the AoL again, class entertainment.

I remember when Triantis was going to Hibs in January to prepare him for this season.

Or Ekwah was going to be Evans replacement.

Or Hemir was going to be Stewart’s replacement.

Or Benette was going to benefit from a loan.

All gone well haven’t they.
Some won’t work out. But some it will take 2-3 years, hence longer contracts

Games are won and lost up front and in defence. Clough thought so and I've no reason to argue with him. A goalscorer who takes most chances that comes his way, 2 strong centre halves and a good keeper. Those are by far and away the most important positions as that's where games are won and lost.
