Simic? He seems to have been here if the rumours are true and we seemed keen on him. He’s chosen Cardiff over us which is a shame as the lad looked great on the videos and people were waxing about him on this thread when it looked like he was going to sign. Gutted to lose out on him and mendy tbh.
 
How bizarre is this?! Plenty of us had him down as a potential "next level" signing and a definite starter. But Cardiff are gonna sign him and immediately loan him to some nobodies despite being absolutely shite themselves.

He looks like a young rossco in the footage I think we will be cursing not signing him tbh.
 
It’d have represented a fairly ambitious buy of a young player from a good standard / pedigree club but it’s not the end of the world. It’ll be massively disappointing if neither Mendy or Cannon arrive now though. We remain badly in need up top.

Hope the club manage to back up the head coach after a very promising start by the end of tomorrow

Why were we in for him if Cardiff doesn't think he is ready? Surely our scouts has seen enough good in him to want to sign him. Top of the league and playing good football, you'd think he'd want to develop with us.

You are reading between the lines. No one knows the full extent of our interest

It does appear he's not ready for Championship football based on the Cardiff proposal
