He got a better offer. What happened then?
Because they've signed himHow did he play last night?
Looked very average in a role that didn’t look natural. Played narrow. As much as I love him and he was amazing for us, he’s gonna struggle in the prem, especially at Ipswich. Still can’t believe he never left for a team more established. How did he play last night?
Didn't see the game last night but have wondered how much our style of play and the freedom he had was helping him look so good. Plus coming up against championship defenders and having less work to do in his own half.Looked very average in a role that didn’t look natural. Played narrow. As much as I love him and he was amazing for us, he’s gonna struggle in the prem, especially at Ipswich. Still can’t believe he never left for a team more established.

Early days ... but I'd imagine the next 5 games are going to be a pivotal for them and him.Looked very average in a role that didn’t look natural. Played narrow. Hope so, especially if we got that sell on clauseI think he's going to smash it at Ipswich.
They'll probably sell him for £60m next year.
Just had a look at Flashscore based on what the poster above mentioned & they’ve got them lined up as three behind the striker & two sitting midfielders, so it looks naturally narrower. He was on the left side obviously.Apparently played in the middle
According to Google, their pitch is 112 x 82 yards, ours is 115 x 75 yards - making their playing surface bigger.Portman Road pitch iirc is a lot smaller than ours ... it pretty tight. Not saying that going make it tougher for players like Clarke
This, if they get relegated he will move up the food chain for big bucks.I think he's going to smash it at Ipswich.
