Roko Simic - potential signing

Surely we can't possibly bring in another 2 strikers in addition to Wilson? We only play with one striker, which one of these lads do we think is going to be happy with coming here to be 3rd choice?

Depends what they plan on doing with Thermidor.

Those Russian bloggers have pointed out he’s played by far his best football on the left of a three so it’s entirely possible we’ve signed him to play there and take some pressure off Mundle.

If we sign two of Cannon, Šimić and Mendy we might see Mayenda go on loan as well.

This has been crystal clear since Jan ‘22.

The ‘model’ isn’t ‘speculate to accumulate’ like we were lead to believe, it’s purely sell to buy. We will go absolutely nowhere under KLD’s watch. Remember, it’s a ‘5year plan’ though, so fans must be quiet while they kick that can down the road.

Be a good signing if he's fit, but hasn't a lot of Huggins injuries stemmed from problems with his back injury?

Just seems a bit weird to want to let a talented young lad go when he's hardly kicked a ball for them. I also thought he'd be a Steve Cooper type of player tbh.
He picked Vardy over him the other night, even though he had hardly trained the whole of pre season. That says to me that they don't want to risk him getting another injury before they flog him. Every signing is a gamble, but some are definitely riskier than others, look at Stewart at Southampton, at least they had cover for him.We would be back to relying on Meyenda and the new lad if he got injured.
