Women & Girls cricket

BBC show WSL games, Bostock said recently they wanted up the quality of the streams to almost broadcast quality, but YouTube isn’t the way, people need to stumble across it rather than hunt it out really, but all tv is moving away from linear

Given that there’s barely any men’s domestic cricket on TV would doubt a subscription broadcaster would pick up tier 1. Very likely it’ll just be the county streams next year, outside of maybe the t20 and 50 over finals.

That said, think that the direction of travel in the women’s game is the right one. Because the top talent all play, the women’s 100 and the W(I)PL are two of the most competitive franchise t20 leagues out there.

It will be interesting to see how DCCC deal with the women’s games next season, in particular whether they include games in the membership subscription. I expect they will need to.

As has been said elsewhere, I think we can expect more double headers with the men in the T20.

It’ll be interesting if they increase prices whilst including those games as justification.

Hypothetically, of course.

That’s what I was thinking tbh. I doubt there would be a demand atm for women’s only tickets/memberships.

Ireland Currently 43/9 against England Women, and 2nd string england womens team too, absolutley pointless these games, Seen better players in the Durham Womens League

great to see, interesting comments from North at the end, seems Very confident of getting a Tier 1 team in the regional shake up next year, cant help but feel he might be setting himself up for a fall, only reason is, i cant see the ECB having a regional team in Durham and Yorkshire, and i cant see them not giving Yorkshire a team despite their financial problems
Good for them, seems they are all in on Tier 1 team

not really a secret as been reported for a while now, but Lauren Filer due to be announced soon, plays a fair bit for england though so not sure how much we will see of her
