Roko Simic - potential signing

He didn't score 6 mate. Last season,in 13 games, he scored 2 with 1 assist. In 6 games in the champions league, simic got 1 goal with 1 assist, in a FAR superior tournament( although for some reason you think the champo is better). Lol,lol, lol
I was comparing his time at Preston. I like how you conveniently ignore his 1 goal was a penalty

How many goals from open play has he got in this superior tournament?
Some shite players have managed to score in the CL like

What’s Simic record like in a total pub league ? I know it was good at the Austrian national league level when on loan
5 in 28 last season

Happy that both are good young players, concerned about Canons back injury long term but if medical team are happy either Simic or Cannon are good players.
Yeah, he is young enough to come back from an injury, as you say as if we’ve checked him over and happy I’d be happy. More confident as well with Mayenda and Isidor here as well if he were to struggle

Wonder why Leicester want to move cannon on so quickly? It's not like he's past his best, or they have a shit load of options upfront. Wonder if his injury has led their medical staff to think he could be susceptible to injury often?

You would think they'd have an eye on relegation planning, and he'd be part of that squad if it were to happen.
And, they are playing with a 37 year old Vardy. They mustn't see him as a future replacement

Seems odd how people would only be happy with either Simic or Cannon, while I’d prefer Simic I’d be happy with either.

I suppose the only odd thing is how they are different type of players.

I like Cannon and think he'll get goals but from the limited viewing of Simic + reports, he would seem to have the superior all-round game (plus has played at a higher level, although young).

Do pennas not count now.Ha ha ha. You are crackers.lol, lol, lol
I don't want to sign a striker based on scoring one penalty in the CL, no.

(I actually don't think he'd be a bad signing with potential for the record, but Cannon for me is the clearly better option - given he can score goals in our division)

*With a broken back.

Simic scored a grand total of 5 goals playing in a league with such giants as WSG Tirol.
He played with a broken back? Or suffered a broken back after his paltry amount of goals? Are WSG tirol as big as giants of the game like rotherham?
I'm sure this has already been called out by someone as misleading. His goals/assists in relation to minutes actually on the pitch, is a much better measure iirc.
Why is he only getting that many minutes?

I’d personally have Cannon over any of them linked. Most likely to hit the ground running and fits nearly every attribute we are after. He is still strong for his height so can hold it up well, he’s fast, makes good runs, great movement in the box and a good finisher
Simic, Mendy and Cannon all have reasons to be optimistic about. I would have thought Cannon would be the most popular just because he's done it in this league, quite similar to Simms after his loan here.

I think I want us to get 2 of them in like.

I refuse to believe you're actually this dense

He only got that many minutes because he suffered a lower back stress fracture, and was being nursed back.

And fwiw, Rotherham are much better than a club like WSG Tirol . The Austrian league is pap.

Do people remember the excitement on here when we signed Hemir ?Thats how starved of a striker we were and nowts changed until it actually does!
