I'm not negative at all marra, Ive loved what I've seen so far. It's just the reality of the way the club is ran. Looking at the bigger picture though, from when KLD & co came in, the club is night and day

As what the falk podcast mentioned it should be night and day from where we were a few years ago. That was the lowest this club has ever been. We've bounced back more quickly previously and we should look at a higher level as a benchmark than league 1 to be honest.
 
I'd like to think we're serious about getting this lad in. I do wonder if using this lads name is a tactic to get Caen to move on the Mendy deal though.

I hope not, as the reports I've read about the lad seem to suggest that he could be playing at the very top level in no time.
 
Mendy more likely than Simic I’d imagine.

Mendy would probably cost €3.5m tops which gives us a fair bit left of the Clarke fee.

Whether we spend any more of it this window is another matter.
