Jack Clarke


No Clarke threads? Amazing considering how many grown men were biting their hands off in anguish. Perhaps let a good coach direct the team and see where we go? Sooooo many babies on here....
 
the worst thing is...hes been badly advised I think by people who wanted to make money from him

but I am sure he will be happy with another half a million quid or year or something

hopefully get a couple more lads in and we wont be as one dimensional as we have been..which wasnt clarkes fauly he just stuck with it

I'll be honest and say I'm actually enjoying the way we play.

High press, passing forward (more than backwards).

The only other way to generate more income is to charge more and build sponsorship.

People are getting season tickets virtually free (£400 a season is pennies compared to other clubs).

It was either patterson or Clarke that was going to be sold, the incoming transfers suggested it and that was the rumour. Clarke wanted away end of last season. The Ipswich town offer is built on a good chunk upfront, so it could be a nice bit of business if we get these new ones in and Mundle keeps producing. There is also povieda to come and Browne is a lovely addition.

No one's bettling him at all. It's the crybabies who said we wouldn't replace him, he won us 20 points etc. Acting as if he's someone imported from 1970's Brazil
 
I know it’s looking really close for Clarke signing for Ipswich, but I’d just hang on hoping a better team comes in for him. I honestly believe he can play for a top 10 team the knars

His style isn’t suited to a team with domination in possession. He needs gaps to play in

It doesn’t make him a worse player, it’s just his natural game

Somebody like Amad has the capacity to play at a higher level because he’s better in tight spaces, at interchanges and in a team dominating possession

There’s not many better than Clarke in tight spaces. His first touch is excellent and he also has a fantastic attitude and is happy to run his socks off.

Yes he has a great attitude and runs his socks off which will help Ipswich’s transitional game.

I meant interchanging in right spaces, which somebody like Amad is better at than Clarke

Man City are miles away from almost all of the premier. Ipswich will do better against other teams

And even if they go down, scoring in transition while getting battered will make PL teams take notice and be interested in Clarke

Is Szmodics does what he did today every game in a 4-1 loss, a bigger team will buy him next summer
