Take your pick. We got relegated to League One with parachute payments. We failed to get promoted from League One with parachute payments. We now have to out perform teams with parachute payments. The current regime have much to improve but they are picking up the pieces from truly horrific wasters.

We once paid some money for grigg you knarr. People will do some mad mental gymnastics to make excuses for the ownership mind I’ve seen short mentioned once or twice ffs there’s kids going to games. Ow that won’t even know who short was or were barely alive when we signed will Grigg. How long will these excuses be used, every time people want us to show a bit of ambition people twist it into we want grigg type stupid signing or tens of millions spent. It’s well time this lot were judged on their time at the club now not the cockney bluffers used as an excuse. They’ve done some good things and some shite things, the model is now at the stage of being tested their plan out to the test. We are three years into the five year plan so things need to start to bear fruit soon. Here’s hoping.

Fair enough. I'm definitely on the happy clapper end of the spectrum, but I agree, we need to see progress this year. 16th is not an option. After the start we've had, we shouldn't be anywhere down there anytime soon considering our schedule. We have Pompey, Plymouth and Derby County between now and Oct 1. We are going to be fine.
