Players like Rigg, Patto, Jobe and possibly Ballard have a much higher upper ceiling than Clarke.

Clarke has been a top player for us. He had a slow start but with good coaching he has become a very good footballer
 
Gotta say I’m utterly furious at this mind. He still has 2 years left on his contract. What the fuck are we accepting a derisory offer like £15m for?!

We could only be considering offers of double that.

Good footballer imho, but he struggles on the wing as he isn’t great at 1 on 1 situations…he has the skill and timing but not the strength or speed. While he is sometimes ok there, he’s better as a number 8 arriving late into the box. Unfortunately we have loads of options in the middle. I’d really like to see him go out on loan for a year and boss the position as he doesn’t fit for us at the moment.

It depends on how much game time he gets and how often Ipswich can get the ball to him. I certainly don't think the mags game was a fair reflection of what you might get from Clarke in the Prem. I think he'll do alright.

People might say defenders know what he's gonna do, but he does it anyway and they can't live with him. He doesn't need to beat his man, he just needs to get a shot away. He'll be fine. Fullbacks cannot defend any more anyway, whether it's this division or the next.

Personally I feel that at the right club Clarke will thrive, he was excellent against Fulham in the FA cup. He has one trick but he's so good at it that it's difficult to defend against. I reckon he'll do well against the teams that Ipswich are trying to contend with.

If he could just get his head up and pass he'd be 50% better to start with.
