Jack Clarke

People are fannys for stating facts now 😂.

In what world does losing your best player not make the side weaker. Some posters on this site man 😂
Because it's going to allow us to bring in 2 or 3 higher calibre players than we could usually shop for.

Granted they might be shit and it's a giant cluster fuck, but it's happened either way, so let's get on board with it and see what happens.

Far too many negatives on here at the minute.

Everyone said we were idiots for letting Wyke go and replacing him with Stewart.

A Sunderland side without Jack Clarke is weaker.

You’ve completely made that last part up, we didn’t sign Stewart as a Wyke replacement. Wyke was still here 6 months after Stewart arrived.

Wyke? I admit I was blinded by his goals, but there was a massive percentage of people on here didn’t rate him despite the goals

Clarke is our best player since we were a Premiership club, we have just sold him for buttons. If we have aspirations for promotion don’t sell your best players when they are willing to play for you and under contract.

Nope

When we would have accumulated a load of points with your hypothesis and clubs traditionally pay more than in the summer window?
Well what makes you think we’ll accumulate loads of points with no strikers as you said 🤷‍♂️

Secondly, it would cause uproar on here in January. “We’ve written off our season again why not just wait till summer”

Also virtually impossible to replace adequately in January without having your eyes taken out by other clubs.

It was your hypothesis man - us being in 5th in January

Isidor and Simic were probably done and dusted yesterday on the back of us knowing that Clarke was away, but I reckon they’ve held off announcing them until today in order to ‘soften the blow’.

I bet we get a scarfing pic of at least one of them today.
Can read this lot like a book! 🙄😉

Aye mate but he's gone, the rest of the team were magnificent the other day, couple of additions and we can still have a good season, people going on like it's game over already

Do you think Clarke played like a man who wanted to be away? People are genuinely gutted.
Let them share their frustrations, the point you make is valid, but nonetheless we are in a weaker position now than we were on Sunday … until proven, and that is a leap of faith, for today
