Most were in the Austrian 2nd division. He has 9 in over 50 appearances in the top flight over there. Still only a bairn though so he's another who won't be coming for the here and now

I'd like to see us now start to buy out some of those clauses later down the line. Rather than sell a player with a 25% sell on, try and buy that clause back part way through the contract. Take Ekwah for example, reportedly 35% sell on as we got him for nothing. It would have been wise to maybe offer them £1m last summer to either remove that clause or reduce it down.

This is another way of sustainable investment without necessarily selling being the only option

Might sound a good idea but the reason the selling club specifies it is to cover the longer term development of a player and potential increase in value. Agreeing to a nominal payment mid-contract is highly unlikely.

I hope we’ve put a big sell on clause in Clarke’s case, it could be valuable.

At 20 year old he’s probably bang on the average age of our first team squad so no reason why he can’t be involved straight away.

He’s 6’3” so ideal for size. He’s scored a few goals so knows where that is. If he’s mobile, unlike some tall players, he’ll be better than anyone we’ve had since Stewart (except Mayenda by the looks of his last outing).
