Roko Simic - potential signing

I don't think it's possible for us to buy a walk in replacement for Clarke - it'll take everyone else picking it up to replace his goals.

He's very much modeled himself after Henry. And that's how Henry started his career too (not saying he's as good, very few are)

I think the hierarchy see Mundle as Clarkes replacement. Mind we have been linked with left wingers a few times. I think there was some lined up if he'd gone early.

I thought speakman joined when KLD took over in 2022 but he’s been there longer than I thought, since 2020. He must have been working with the chuckle brothers back then.

I don’t think there’s a winger out there who will…
a) contribute anywhere near as many assists and goals as JC.
b) Be prepared to play at Championship level.

Which is why we should sack Ipswich or anyone else off unless they offer mad money £35m+, sign these couple of forwards and see where we are in January. If we’re off the pace, sell and take a £5m or so hit on fee. If we’ve got a chance, push on.

Kld was also at the club just after that January where we signed Stewart.

Speakman was hired at his behest
 
f***ing hell man. You can have:
  1. Local Journos in Croatia and Austria saying he's coming
  2. British Print and TV media saying he's likely coming
  3. Even Skunk Downie says he's likely coming
  4. Le Bris saying he's a target in the press conference
But because 1 bloke hapend to maybe say he's talking to clubs (plural) we're apparently not f***ing getting him.

Genuinely the most bipolar place online.
