why would it drop in january..he would still have 18 months left..Or even January If we aren’t looking likely we’d still get £10-15m you’d think?

That should be the minimum considering the other deals they’ve done15+5 to me seems they’ve been given some encouragement (Mr Harte) that 20 mill may be a figure to get into talks with Clarke.
We are probably wanting the full 20 up front with some additional guaranteed add ons
I reckon if Ipswich get to say 20+5 that we’ll do business
This for me is the minimum. He has two years on his contract - 6 months to gamble to get ourselves in a position where we might look good value is well worth a few million. We’d just spend that on someone that doesn’t come close to Clarke, anywaysOr even January If we aren’t looking likely we’d still get £10-15m you’d think?
Isn’t that obvious? 6 months less on his contractwhy would it drop in january..he would still have 18 months left..
but is that a signiifcant time period in and of itself..Isn’t that obvious? 6 months less on his contract
To be fair the bloke quoted genuinely belies mark wood has been better for England than James Anderson so need to be taken with a dumper truck size load of salt like
We are still paying the price for that.Just like the plan for Ross Stewart’s departure?
My answer to them would've been something like "You've just insulted us so the price is now £30 million. Insult us again and it will go up again". With the Burnley offers rejected I just don't understand why they even bothered with that offer.15m is ludicrous
Just like the plan for Ross Stewart’s departure?
Half those players listed simply can't be considered to be viable first team options for this season. They're just not good enough. Arguably only Roberts and poveda are of an acceptable standard for a club wanting to push for the play offs. If clarke goes and isn't replaced we become significantly waaker in that position.
Exactly look at the Elliott Anderson who forest signed from the mags 40 million and he's done absolutely fuck all in his career so farGot to be £25m minimum.
Premier League teams are spending 20/30/40 million now on completely bog standard signings.
For me, it feels like £20m is probably enough for us to build our the depth in our squad at CB, probably sign the two strikers we need and replace him at left wing with someone who can contribute 10 goals a season.
It's perfectly possible that with a more balanced side we will actually improve in terms of goals across the side, and become a better attacking team.
If 30-40% of the profit is going to Spurs, its got to be £25m minimum. Do we know the sell on clause?
