Jack Clarke

Time is on Jack's side. No disrespect to Ipswich but chances are they will be one of the teams liable to get relagated. If we do get promoted, the sky could be the limit. For Clarke and SAFC.The team is at last getting some value onto these players, better results and performances will hopefully increase.Don't get promoted, give good performances ,see where we are in January ? Clarke seems happy,he's had the uncertainty of big clubs. He can only improve with SAFC !
Spot on....

If Clarke loves his football here he should think hard IF he will be given a game every week at the Tractor boys Its never always about the money , it can be about the settled environment and his his mates which seems to be in abundance with the squad... theres plenty of time to move next season if it goes tits up this season with promotion.

I'd keep him and consider offers in January if we're not pushing for promotion.

Ideally I'd give him a new deal mind.
This would be sensible. If we are adrift then cash-in, if he’s going into his last year and rebuild the following summer.
If we are with any sort of shot of top 6 though, do everything we can to persuade him to stay

I’ll say it again and again, we are absolutely mental to take anything less than £25 million and honestly with how late this is happening in the window I’d have added an extra £10 million on, we are a disgrace if we take 15 rising to 20 this late in the window, he’s worth more to us for trying to go up than that money offered.

Also, losing most weeks won’t be overly enjoyable, despite the money he’d be on. He had a seemingly miserable time at Tottenham and even Harte has said several times how happy he is here.
We’ve started well and another result on Saturday could see him hoping for the top flight with us in the not too distant future.

playing good football, being happy and contented , getting I presume a very decent wage speaks louder than the bigger wage, the chance of staying up, and the promises of kicking on...I know which I choose.

With him having 2 years left on his contract and hopefully some progress in the transfer market, the ideal scenario is the club convincing him we’re giving it a go for Promotion and he stays for another season at least. £15M plus £5M as an add on seems criminally low for him, and there’s a strong chance Ipswich could get relegated. Not what the fans need, after the high of last weekend.
