I think there will be a sizeable gap between what we want and what teams are willing to pay for him unless someone gets really desperate. Especially when you consider the sell on fee, he’s worth more to us than 60% of the fees being mentioned.

He’s a known quantity here, to anyone having to fork over a huge amount to sign him he represents an expensive gamble.

Yep, that’s exactly my point. Let’s hope the op is correct about him agreeing to sign a contract with us and let’s hope nobody puts in a silly bid that we can’t turn down

No need to apologise mate, we all have our own opinions and you never know, you could end up being right.
I just got a shock when I saw 60 - 80 Million.
