Prefer the other lad, at least he’s played recently.

For them to ask more money for someone who hasn’t played this pre season is scandalous, so Caen can keep the unhappy player for all I care.

It’s just took all summer to get to this point? We should’ve walked weeks ago. Let’s hope we get lucky and this lad from Russia turns out to be good and we have a cat iron buy option. Still feels like we’ve pissed about way too long and wanted him on the cheap as they needed the money before the takeover. They weren’t as desperate for the money so don’t blame them for not wanting to sell their prized asset for peanuts.

How do you know that this deal wasn't dead back in July and we've spent the last 3 weeks getting isodor over the line and it's anything but a panic buy?

Shame if we drop out on this one, he seemed the most well rounded of the strikers we have been linked with, strong, looks like he can hold it up and has a recent history of scoring goals. Hope we arent hanging all our hopes on Isodor as whilst he has a decent goal scoring record in Russia it isnt as impressive or has the longevity of Mendys.

So we believe the press when it’s convenient then?. The truth is always somewhere in the middle. We should’ve walked way sooner we’ve been stuck on this one player all summer it seems.
 
The thing that gets me about this Mendy fella...

IF we were to sign him and he was a success, leading the line for 30+ games, scoring plenty etc...

Then he's clearly worth more than f***ing €3M. It's like we don't even value him as being good enough to start with.

I mean they were incredible unlucky with a deal being agreed and then a brand new owner coming in.

The frenchies are clearly f***ing us about, you have to leave eventually like. You could call it panicked, or we had another lad lined up as back up which is forward planning, who knows.

Or we're playing the game. If that's the case then the frenchies are losing the upper hand each day this drags on. They'd of hoped we started shit so we were panicking, we weren't. They'd of hoped we didn't have an adequate replacement so we needed him, we have Mayenda and now the lad from Russia.

Remember they have already bought in his replacement, so us pulling out could really fuck them over financially.
