I think they're looking at a long term plan, 5 years plus. As fans we're always looking at the current season, it's a balance because he can't unsettle the fans too much but in hindsight i'd say they've done a fantastic job. Doesn't stop me getting frustrated mind so I understand the concerns.

Nothing irrational about that. Every season ticket holder has a right to feel completely ripped off.

How can he have failed when Jobe will cover the last 3 transfer windows easily. His job is to get us making a profit, not promotion.

maybe he was waiting to see how mayenda got on. Maybe the 3 strikers we've currently got will be ok now we've got an actual manager in charge. Mayenda main striker, the other 2 as backup. Maybe it'll work.

Surely, if you were advising Jack on potential transfers you would rule out moves to anyone in the same league and any club likely to be relegated from the Prem? So none of last season's relegated clubs or Leeds; not any of last season's promoted clubs, or Everton or Forest; none of the top 6 or 8 Prem teams will be interested, therefore - as a smart, bright, sensible, logical, common sense type of agent - you would consider Palace, WHU, Brighton, Brentford, maybe Wolves but not many others? So on the assumption Harte is smart etc., and none of the aforementioned come in for Jack, then you agree a two year extension to your SAFC contract at increased wages, insert a sensible transfer fee clause and tell Jack to continue enjoying his football.

You'd do that wouldn't you?
