I've never watched a minute of the men's Hundred, all i've seen is Tammy Beaumont scoring a ton when I was at my granddads care home.

So I would happily have never had the competition and this chat wouldn't exist right now.

I'm just looking at a positive that has come out of a shit situation. It's a proper FC game not one of them daft 16 a side warm up games, like the County XI vs WI they had in July

The point is that 16.4 players were ‘protected’ from competing whilst counties, who are already being hampered by having their players taken from them for the crisp packet cup were being raped again for what talent they have left - some of whom are now unavailable for crucial knockout games.

The two run chases today were insane. I reckon both Warwickshire and Leicestershire went as long odds wise as 6/1 in-play and they both won.

It’s been a common theme this year mind, run chases that for maybe 35-40 overs look like being a step to far and then in the end they win fairly easily.

Spare a thought for Worcestershire though, after everything they’ve been through this season it would’ve been nice to see them get over the line.
