massive question marks re injury ...so much so that SFC are spending decent sums in that area .... you could draw some conclusions from that investment

we have wasted enough brass on non esential dross to have zero excuses about strikers being a premium buy.

basically whoever is tasked with finding an effective one does not know what to look for.

how many Millions do you reckon we wasted over the last 2 seasons?

In some respects I can see why he might have Been bought... but not as a striker

We need our best minds on the case now, to find the other ONLY possible striker in the World that we can sign, and fixate on them for a couple of month.

If we fail to get a striker then yes I think it’s time for a change whether that’s a new DoF or something else. But we do not have a f***ing conman for an owner. The hyperbole is ridiculous and I honestly think other fans would laugh at us for saying that and we’d be blasted with the term “entitled”


and before the whole “we were a premier league club” I’m well aware but we got absolutely f***ing shafted from Ellis Short and the club was an absolute mess. It’s not a quick fix situation and we can’t just throw money at it and risk being back at square one again if it fails

If they don’t back RLB and it goes pear shaped forget being able to attract anyone else half decent to the club under this ownership.

The message will be clear as day to the entire footballing community. They expect you to perform miracles on a shoestring at Sunderland.

I do feel like this is a cross between Mbappe being inexperienced and posturing like Methven was trying to do when he came in and us trying to hardball too much. There’s no way he’s worth the numbers being reported that they want.
