Can't afford it. They were struggling to get things in order last season and I doubt that's improved much this season even after a few sales unless they go for it. They won't be spending 20m fees.

You think as a Championship club you're going to spend or can afford to spend 20m?

FFP is great, for now, but unless promoted this season you have what, one more year of reduced parachute payments. Whatever you do spend will have to be with that in mind.

I think you might spend something to try and keep you competitive, but it's unlikely be anything approaching what it would take to get Clarke.
