One Day Cup :: Durham v Derbyshire

It's a development competition and it has shown how lacking we are in this area. Only Mustard has taken the opportunity. I think it'll be goodbye to Bushnell and Gibson with only nepotism giving Killeen a possible reprieve.

I'm told Bushnell isn't expecting to be kept on. Shame he has never pushed on.

I think McKinney has taken his opportunity aswell, but I agree it feels like a big step back when it comes to the young bowlers as none of them put themselves forward for any future selection.

Wouldn't say 2 innings of 30 odd is taking chance albeit positive last 2 games

Not enough runs scored from a good position
Too many extras conceded as per normal
Bringing on Borthwick on to bowl simply handed Derby the initiative
Dropped catches at the end were very costly
We don’t normally get beat of Derbyshire especially up here
But they played better than us at crucial times

I wouldn't like doesn't matter what age its understandable don't get me wrong but still
It was interesting hearing Campbell saying repeatedly he should have been standing up to Raine to keep the batsmen in their crease. Much to learn still.

Worcestershire despite finishing 2nd and gaining a home tie. Will be playing 3rd placed Warwickshire at Edgbaston.

As New Road is hosting the England Lions vs Sri Lanka game.

What a joke the ECB are man shouldn't be a QF less than 48 hours after the final group game anyway.

Absolutely through that game away with the awful batting starting with Bas then sending Raine up the order despite the fact he had not batted in a month should of scored over 300 our score of 250 was never going to be enough baring a magic spell from someone

Couldn’t agree more. And we’d have had a home QF if we’d won 🙁
