One Day Cup :: Durham v Derbyshire

ridiculous that mind, Batting ahead of his son too, but because he doesnt play 1st's or 2nd's he's allowed to rock up to play in a development league

yet i hear of teams having to get dispensation to play Under 18's whov'e gotten a game for 1st the week before

Heard a story of one lad only 16 played in the firsts, this time of year covering holidays etc, batted 10 bowled about 3 overs, turned up for the 4ths on the Sunday and was told bowl again as he'd played 1sts the day before
Yeah I guess its nice for him to play with his son, but not doing much to bring him on by batting ahead of him.

To be fair the Sacriston kids have had a chance to take the field with a Test cricketer but not sure thats the objective of the league.

Dan Hogg’s probably dropped the one day cup.
I mean the fact we didn't score more than 254 and played like morons in other games is more to blame than a 19 year old that's barely played first team cricket.

Game over this though with their batting still to come and these both looking well set.

Still think we should have mixed it up in that first 10. Daft from Lees to just use the two bowlers in the power play.

The required run rate is comfortable for Derbyshire. We need to slow it down with wickets. Probably too much to ask for another collapse similar to the match at Kent.
