Jack Clarke

If he was going elsewhere it would have happened at the beginning of this window, JC loves it here new deal incoming I totally agree.Keep an eye on Jobe too 😎

Just re-inforces my belief that we do not have a single player in our squad who could successfully compete in the Premiership. If Ian Harte thought he could get a move for Jack, then he would be gone. Obviously, that offer wasn't forthcoming. However i'm pleased he's staying.

Far too simplistic a view.

It’s likely our asking price (especially with a 40% sell on) is too high for a player who would be a risk. Clarke has also been there and done it before….and hated it, being farmed out all over.

This is good news if it happens, no need to be finding the negatives in it.

Like i said. I'm pleased he's staying. But it's difficult to see much positivity at the moment for me personally. Cardiff looked like relegation fodder on Saturday , but Sheff Wed will be better barometer.

I cant think of a single situation where a player signed a new deal and moved in the same window.

It’s a clear signal that he’s not for sale.
I think not personally.

I think it's very rare for a player so obviously playing at a lower level to his ability signs a new deal.

I think Clarke had his fingers badly burnt at Spurs and loves it here. But he and the club will also be realistic about it if the big boys come calling.
