No doubt KS has made some poor decisions however I can't understand the vendetta against him.Because of this KLD is getting an easy ride imo.

The purse strings may be tight but no-one forced the club to commit a couple of mil on Hjelde when we had Alese and Anderson for the exact same role (left footed CB who can cover LB).

And yet... we had money for Hjelde, we had money for Rusyn, and Sartori has said that money is available now.

So... why aren't we coughing up £2M-£3M for the lad who would - apparently - be the last missing piece in the jigsaw?

Proper weird signing, he may turn out to be a good signing but it's just not a position we need and was a waste of funds for a club who are being run on a strict budget.

This. For the life of me, other than a vanity project, I cannot see what motive KLD has for continued ownership of the club.

Speakman appears absolutely obsessed with potential and cannot bring himself, no matter how painfully obvious the requirement is, to spend what budget he’s allocated on a competent experienced forward.

It’s getting to the point where it seems like he’d view it as a personal failure to resort to what everyone else in the world sees we urgently need.

Can't believe I'm defending transfer policy, but to be fair we didn't have a fit left back. I'm not sure we paid £2m for him either, certainly not up front.

Granted it would probably have been better to sign someone else, but he might improve, he's still young.

I hope their DoF is a bit better than Speakman at getting one over the line or Mendy will be stuck there whether he likes it or not.
