Boro thread

Looks like City got a good deal out of it too. 25% sell on plus matching rights and buy back clause and a fee of £2m, rising to £5m with add ons.

Could well be a very good signing though. The few games he's played for City, he looks like he could be more than good enough for The Championship.

Ti be fair to them as a fan at least you can see the intent in the market compared to our clowns
They have Latte Laath who’d walk in our side, also pushing for Conway alongside this city kid they signed, they having a go at least
Then there’s us zero intent to show any ambition financially and compete, we just get ‘we’re looking for someone who must fit our profile’ all just bullshit to smoke screen they won’t spend money required
Good bet for top six Boro

True, but this season is 5 seasons in the making, selling Akpom, Bamford, Tavenior, Spencer, Rogers...has built up enough money and staying within limits of FFP, to eventually have a crack at promotion.

It will be Rav that's the first sold for decent money, if 'Boro don't get promoted.

Latte will also fetch for a decent fee if he has another good, injury free, season.

But saying that, if Latte has an injury free season and continues where he left off last season, then it'll be likely that 'Boro will be in contention in the promotion battle.
