I was making a point that Sunderland and Middlesbrough had been similar in recent history. 30, 40, 50, 60, 70 years - take your pick. You said I was wrong. I wasn't. It's a significant period of time, you are clearly upset about it, I get it. It's little old Boro afterall.

As I said, it's an inconvenient truth.

It's EIGHTY EIGHT years since you were last league champions.
Since then, you've won two cups to our one
You also been in the third tier for more than twice the amount of time that we have.

We didn't win a trophy before he became Chariman but aside from 2 seasons we competed either in the first or second division.

To say we will plummet when he eventually steps down (assuming you mean drop down to League One) is rubbish.
