Le Bris the yes man

Whilst not quite a”free hit” for the manager “-if (and hopefully not ) things don’t start well supporters know that the book will stop firmly with the hierarchy this time .
I like the look of his approach so far. -he hasn’t had long but clearly has a plan that the players are taking on board .
Obviously hope he improves us -he’s been given a tough “ gig “ and I think we will all get behind him .
Does that make me a happy clapper ?-if so I’m in
HTL it’s Sunday and I’m looking forward to the season .

Have you not thought maybe that’s his f***ing opinion, ffs he barely has any trustees at lorient he was only head coach for two seasons. Also the striker situation that’s bullshit he said we are working on it and then even went on to say mayenda can’t lead the line for 46 games so we will need a CF

Also to add to this, I’d worry if we couldn’t see any changes but fuck me the whole squad is buying into Le Bris’ style. So clearly Dodds etc isn’t affecting that
Angry man.

Maybe he's just happy with what he's got, maybe he appreciates that Dodds and Proctor can be a link to the players and follow his training instructions well, happy that they are his 'yes men' and the players aren't being childish and downing tools because they don't want them to go etc. maybe that makes his job easier and the results better

Maybe.

Maybe do as he asks as supporters and support.

Maybe it'll all be shite, maybe not ... there are no definites and declaring them without knowledge is the job of fools.

Clear as day that he was never going to be allowed to bring his own man in. A bloke relegated from his last job just grateful to be given an opportunity elsewhere, who won’t speak out about the ownership, the dream appointment for Dreyfus and Speakman.
This exactly, I wish Regis all the best for the season and we have to back him, get behind him, to try and turnaround the mess from the 2nd half of the season.
But Dodds and proctor still being there is a shambles 💯.

I mean, this was pretty obvious when no-one was appointed within a week or two of the original comments about the interviewing process. Fully expected it to all go silent then the season starts with Dodds carrying on as number 2.

Hanging RLB out to dry, they are, although if things don’t go well I’d hope they decide to bring in an experienced no. 2 to assist rather than sack him. I don’t think i could bear the gormless cap wearer taking charge again.

To be fair the OP a makes a good point. He’s not saying RLB will be shit, but he’s obviously towing the Speakman line. Following last years debacle at the end of the season, the whole raft of first team coaches would have been out the door, but because it was Speakman’s idea, he can’t do that without falling on his sword. I wish the fucker would hurry up and do just that. Yes we may be better than before he came along but that was a pretty low bar and everyone has their level. He’s reached his now, no good saying we are better off then ignoring that absolute dross he has bought.

Née French football expert ( in fact I thought big step up for a manager of L Orient ?) -but did they not sell all their best players ?

Why would he speak out against the model when he has agreed to join the club knowing what the model is?

The bloke has already said he doesn't have his own backroom staff as he was given staff to work with previously. Maybe he finds it pathetic it upsets people on here so much.

I'm aware of what he has said, and let's not forget he was relegated last year with that set up.

I find it absolutely mad that someone would come to a foreign country, to a league you've never coached in, with the need to win over a dressing room in a second language and not at least want to pick your own staff tbh. This is the biggest club he's ever managed at.

We're just not setting him up to succeed, let's be honest.

Getting interviewed in northern echo saying happy to go forward with current coaching staff if club can’t find the right candidates. I bet speakman and KLD love him already. How hard can it be to find a no 2 or coach. Load of absolute bullshit. I’m sure I read somewhere else over the weekend he didn’t want to talk about strikers either. Just what Speakman and KLD wanted someone who wouldn’t speak out against the model. Let the relegation battle commence.
Pathetic

How Dodds is anywhere near the first team is beyond me given last season.

His journey will take us back to div 3 if his best mate can’t get a competent striker signed in the next few weeks.

The new HC will be the fall guy but the root of the problem lies with the owners and Speakman.

We have learnt nothing from last season.

No they haven’t, or it’s fair to say that’s the assumption you would make based upon the seemingly lack of intent if any real investment to improve the team.

A simple question to the owner and Speakman, do you think the signing of two CF’s with the likes of Mendy and Stansfield at a cost of circa £7m, would you agree these two signings would increase our chances of at least a play off spot considerably, or are you going to settle on just one signing and pray he doesn’t get injured? There is more than a good chance this outlay will be more than covered with the sale of Clarke in fact a further outlay on a CH and DCM player from the proceeds and we may have a genuine chance of the play offs.

Do nothing don’t support your Head Coach and you will have a major problem come October latest. It’s called showing some ambition and giving you the very best opportunity of showing return on your investment.

Over to you KLD, a huge opportunity awaits or otherwise, as of right now the team has only marginally been improved from last season.

Give Regis a break....he has come over really well so far and we need to unite and get behind him and the squad. Fresh season, fresh start.
I'm happy to unite being regis and the team, but fuck every single one in charge of off the pitch decisions
I think right now we are in a better position than at any time last season. Or any time since we got promoted.
That's absolutely mental.
