Lawrence Shankland

Good finisher. About it. Not sure he’d suit us due to our strikers usually being involved in a lot of play
I get your point, but one could argue we've hardly had a striker involved in any of our play since September '22 (that's when Simms was injured against Reading). Even years before, Stewart is the only one to get involved in overall play since before Defoe (the good time).

I know a lad who watches loads of Scottish footy (don't know why he's weird) but he always says the clamour for Shankland on here is bizarre as he's pretty shit.

So has James Tavenier and he's a right back. Stephen Hawkins would get double figures in that league.
Well disagree. He's streets ahead of anything we have at the moment, is a proper goalscorer and last time I checked we needed someone to score goals in the number 9 position.

Yeah 130 in 194 sounds shite doesn't it.

How many did Hemir, Mayenda, Rusyn and Burstow hit last season?

Imagine turning your nose up at Shankland when last year we had the likes of Burstow, etc :) Our best striker was a midfielder (Jobe).
