I wouldn't be against Geldhart coming back at all , thought he was threw into the deep end in a time where we were desperate, thought his link up play was good.
 
Putting forward names of strikers means they won’t be signed.
Imagine after the 347,062 posts about this feller that there’s been so far KS actually signed him? Then he was a success? It’s make KS and co look like he was getting tips from on here and that half of this place were on the case before he was.
KS and co can’t have that now can they?

Did he even get starts for Scotland at the Euros ? So good he’s still their 2/3rd choice striker 😳

just checked - 59 in the last two seasons. Some seem to be saying he's not like Ross Stewart who basically did the work of two men, but a #9 who can finish would make it way easier for those behind him and especially someone who gets in the box, aka the POMO(!). We have the talent further back but they do need a focal point, like all other teams.

Mendy's stats are also good tbf.

It's pretty funny that we could have signed him for free instead of spending loads of money on he who must not be named to accomplish a short term goal.

Was crap in the mighty Belgian league. Only scores in a division where Jake Vokins was a regular starter. I'd gamble on him if free, that's all.

Of course we spend money, generally on accumulating squad players from abroad that are bang average and don't play.
It's about spending the going rate on quality players in the right areas, and we don't do that.

So of our first XI

Patterson - academy
Hume - paid a fee
Ballard - paid a fee
O'Nien - was here under previous regime but we paid a fee
Cirkin - paid a fee

Browne - free transfer
Neil - academy

Roberts - free transfer
Jobe - paid a fee
Clarke - paid a fee

Of the options who can play striker - Hemir, Mayenda, Rusyn - all were bought for fees.

So that's 6/11 we paid for plus a couple of frees one of whom has played I don't know how many games at this level.

We're short a centre forward, but you're still wrong.
