Why? Based on what? You've basically just done what some Sheff Wed fans have done when we signed Poveda - "Oh they must be paying him huge wages, only explanation".
 
Hmmm, obviously we don't know if the club even tried to get him - but if we did it'd be disappointing to lose a potential target to Swansea, not a team with huge amounts of money, when he'd be coming in to start for us from day one.

I find the approach under KLD so frustrating as a supporter. We seem to be penny-pinching to the absolute extreme.
 
If he apparently turned us down last year I can understand that they may not go back for him. Could argue its cutting your nose off to spite your face, but equally about wanting players who prefer to be here
 
If we've been in for him previously, then it would seem mental if they've decided not to try to get him now he's a free agent. Unless they did, we don't know, and we don't know what Swansea might be willing to pay him if it was a contest.

He didn't come last time and if he turned us down again, then he still doesn't want to.

Like all of us, I'll just have to wait and see what happens as my influence isn't what it once was.
 
1 goal every 238 minutes in Ligue 2 last season.
Mendy got 1 goal every 147 minutes in the same league.

Now maybe he turns out to be a good player, but we already have a few forwards with it all to prove.
 
It’s more for me how easy it is for other clubs to sign these players at the top end of pitch
The happy clappers will have you believe its ‘a tough market’ or ‘these things take time, hope we get the right one’
Never known owt like our negotiations for strikers people need to wake up and smell the coffee we’ve been down this road so many times on this subject, same soundbites time after time
It’s why we’ll end up with a Burstow on the last day again
They simply won’t pay the going rates needed for these players

He he is in any way similar to Rusyn, I’d rather we look in The Wearside League
 
We'll have enquired about what he wants wages wise and then ran a mile.

You'd think the lad would have been perfect for the model, but again, the tight restraints on money sees us step aside.
