Sheffield Wednesday fans rate him highly so rather judge him on that then goal stats, his injury record is a concern though.

True but that was under terrible management. Under Mowbray season before he was class and contributing goals (I know Amad obviously helped that though). Competition for his place is never a bad thing especially on a free. Minimal risk.Aye Roberts is wonderful to watch when he's on it. But his contribution last season was garbage compared to even Ba. Watson will probably be better than all of them.
Some of their fans getting carried away after their good form end of last season. We’d have probably been the same if we stayed up after looking like relegation fodder beginning of the season tbf.Just looked at Sheff Wed forum to get their thoughts and one reckons he didn’t sign for them cos he’s after 50k per week![]()

Very over inflated ego of themselves in other comments saying they are much bigger so it’s down to money

Not sure on what basis you could assess Sheff Wed as a bigger club than Sunderland. They fall short on historical performance, recent performance, size of fanbase etc.Very over inflated ego of themselves in other comments saying they are much bigger so it’s down to money
Do you not think having an actual proper head coach and a striker up top will help? He's an attacking player / winger. We need ones that get goals, our total of 50 last year rightly saw us finish 17th.
.. Think he's got a point mind .. Hopefully proves us wrong ..Dear me .
Lots of their fans reckon they rushed him back which may have set his injuries back last season.Sheffield Wednesday fans rate him highly so rather judge him on that then goal stats, his injury record is a concern though.
That’s @Billy Batts@skunk hater is Mackem Cabbie?
Seriously, who watches a bloke sitting in a motor in a Sunderland shirt talking as if he’s a journalist breaking news? The mind boggles but someone must.Well, according to him!

Free but presumably on decent wages which has to be factored in. Yes terrible management, agree with that. Loads of the players were shite under Beale and Dodds. Hopefully this lads assist stats are better than his goals numbers. Who knows maybe we will have a striker for him to pass to. No striker certainly will have negatively impacted everyone's assist stats at safc last season.True but that was under terrible management. Under Mowbray season before he was class and contributing goals (I know Amad obviously helped that though). Competition for his place is never a bad thing especially on a free. Minimal risk.

Our lack of a main striker was the biggest issue, unsurprisingly. 15 goals from Clarke with a few more chipped in from midfield, would have had us better off.
