Eddie Howe

Would prefer a more ethical choice than Howe. Although I think comments about his European record etc are canny harsh, because that Newcastle team is relatively shite with a few good players (who didn't turn up in the big European games) dotted around.

I dont think England manager is the right role for Eddie Howe tbh. He always looks under so much stress while managing Newcastle but seemed relaxed at Bournemouth for some reason ?.

We should bin the idea of appointing an Englishman and go for Jurgen Klopp as number one target.

Only reason I wouldn’t go for an Englishman is because the majority are unproven.

It says it all that the last Englishman to win the top flight in England was Howard Wilkinson. Last to win FA Cup was Joe Royle in 1995 and League Cup Schteve McClaren in 2004.

Quite pathetic really.

On the list of requirements the FA speak of having evidence of strong morals & values (presumably to carry on Southgate’s positive energy around the FA)

This clearly rules Howe out as he doesn’t have them, as evidenced by working for the Saudi Arabian government

He's after more money and a longer contract

Brilliant this
He’s clearly unhappy his main allies have left the club
Wants England job just won’t come out and say it flipping it onto the club
If England want Howe they might be best sitting back watching it play out

He's obviously off if they offer him the job after watching his interview yesterday. He and Saudi have realised they can't buy success now due to FFP. Can't blame him to be honest because if we got off to a shit start this season he knows they'd peddle him anyway.
