I've been working through stuff and things are looking brighter than they were.
The Euros gave me a big lift. I managed to watch most of the matches and enjoyed both the footy and the daft chat on here in the match threads.
One of the main things I've changed is pain/tiredness management and handling household jobs. I used to just keep ploughing on trying to get through jobs even when I was struggling. Then I'd finish and ended up knackered and down because I felt unwell and I'd done what looked like a half arsed effort at said job. I'd then sit beating myself up about that.
I've been breaking jobs up so I'm doing a bit, then sitting down, doing a bit, then sitting down and so on. The Euros helped settle that in my mind as a good strategy as I'd watch the afternoon match, then have an hour to get as much housework as I could done before sitting back down again.
Trying to keep on top of stuff on my PC. I do have work admin type stuff to do on an evening. I'm guilty of sitting at the PC, then faffing about on here or other sites, then realising it's late and I haven't done the admin work. By the time I get the work done, I'm coming off the PC and straight into bed, which doesn't help with sleeping as my brain is still wired up. I've been making an effort to get the admin stuff done early evening, then I can faff about as much as I want from the comfort of the sofa which is a more relaxing place. I'm finding that leads to better sleeping.
I'm still tired like but I'm going on holiday today. It's a much needed break from things. Hopefully I'll come back refreshed and ready to sort out all the stuff round the house that's built up while I've been unwell
Keep going marra. You're doing really well. All my love xx
