CC : Durham v Worcestershire

Potts was especially awful in one spell just after lunch
Robinson had no chance with his bowling and the batsmen had no chance in hitting a lot of his balls
Seems to have regressed since he made his England debut a couple of years back. I must admit I was quite shocked to see he’d been picked for the West Indies.

It's common knowledge that batting conditions differ considerably at the Riverside between when sunny and when overcast. Undoubtedly a got the worst of the conditions but we should have been aware of that when we instructed Vic to prepare a green wicket.

True I just think maybe conditions played more of a part than people want to admit here

We did chuck some wickets away too

He was absolutely brilliant last year like IMO

Didn’t agree with the short ball stuff today mind

Maybe there’s something in this theory from Bostock that it’s better financially for the club when cricket isn’t being played 🤷‍♂️
Had a walk around the ground during the lunch break and a chat with some of the regulars and this theory was actually mentioned on more than one occasion.

Parky is ok and is doing alright. but, it sounded like they weren't going to play a spinner for this match anyway.
