Regis le Bris - confirmed

I didn't expect them to be paying Potter's wages, but we couldn't even make a good enough offer to attract the likes of Will Still, Rosenior etc. we've gone bargain basement however it's spun.
Think positively for gods sake.
It’s all doom and gloom.

When we have to sack him it won’t be as much.

Roughly translates to "Governed the Breakage". Sounds an accurate description of his last season...

Jokes aside - Haway Le Bris. Will give him my full backing

Apart from listening to that short piece on BBC Sounds that someone posted yesterday, with some French football ‘expert’ discussing him, I have no idea who this bloke is. I’d never even heard of him. It’s pointless over-analysing what he did previously. I’ll make a judgement on him after he’s been here for a decent length of time and I’ve had a chance to hear him speak, see how he sets the team up, how he changes games tactically, etc. I’d be wasting my time and energy taking too much consideration into what he’s done previously. Or the opinions of others on him. It’s what he does if/when he takes the job here that’s important.

There’s those who want to forget and move on.

Then there’s those who want to dwell in the past, never forget and remain annoyed at everything and everyone.
Forget and move on? How does that work when it's the exact same people making the decisions? Do you suddenly trust them to make the right decisions? We're not talking about one questionable sacking; we're talking about a year of absolute shambles - from the transfer window, to Mowbray being replaced by Beale, to BCB, to the Jan transfer window, to Dodds and Speakman writing off the season by saying he was happy to plod along to the end of the season, to having relegation form from Jan to May. And you want to ignore that and pretend it didn't happen? Pretend that Speakmans judgement hasn't been abysmal and that we should suddenly trust him?

Perhaps some people don't think the shitshow they've presided over deserves to be forgotten about? Perhaps some people think they should be held to account and have their decisions scrutinised in a way befitting the complete lack of trust that they've earned.

We're talking the current regime over last 12 months, not other people years and years ago. It's hardly comparable to people banging the Jimmy Hill/Coventry drum, or even Donald selling anything that wasn't nailed down.

Sometimes the better managers are struggling at smaller clubs without the tools to improve.

You can see a large pool of our fans are waiting in the wings to boot off IF we have a similar start to what Southampton did last year.

The biggest thing for us now is getting the recruitment right. I only want experience brought in providing it's way ahead of what we have and can maybe do a job IF we ended being promoted.
He quite simply can't be much worse than Beale or Dodds.
If he is it's the end of Speakman.
Glass half full.
Ha'way Regis lad.

How is it the end of KS? What if it's KLD's appointment?

To be fair Moyes is rightly despised by many on here for what he did at Sunderland, but look how successful he’s gone on to be at West Ham
Helped that he actually wanted to be at West Ham mate ;).

We've all been in situations where we have been all been somewhere we didn't want to be, you are so unmotivated and half-arsed it's not true. Except Mr Moyes decided to play a hand in getting the team relegated as a side-effect ;)

If it walks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, it’s a duck.

Sometimes you can just look at an appointment and think this looks really shit. No need to over hypothesise.

Hopefully it isn’t, but I think he’ll be gone by Christmas.

If KLD is making appointments over his head then it’s probably the end of him anyway.
