Regis le Bris - confirmed

It's pretty common knowledge that in no particular order the club went for Maric, Svensson, Still, Rosenior, Jansen, and Cifuentes throughout the process.

The fact that some fans will swallow this nonsense that the club only ever wanted Still and then le Bris is precisely why we're yet again in this ridiculous situation of yet another botched managerial recruitment process.

I'm sure you'll all be taken in by the "Regis was always our first choice" shite that will come in the press release too.

I have never heard anything to suggest we were trying to appoint Jansen or Rosenior, they did get spoken to, as did Cifuentes, but that doesn’t mean the talks went well and the club were interested after talking to them. The only 2 people that I know were genuinely in the running and would have been offered the job ahead of Le Bris were Maric and Still.

I’m not saying he DEFINITELY was our 3rd choice, but he absolutely could have been as nobody knows how the interview process went.
