I mentioned on here about water creeping under the covers overnight from Sunday. Hence the delayed start on Monday morning when the sun was out . Hopefully today’s weather and the sunny forecast for Wednesday means some cricket. However it wouldn’t totally surprise me if it’s officially abandoned already and the Yorkshire contingent has booked out of their Newcastle base 👍
 

Got there at 10:45 in bright sunshine and a good forecast on the cards . Only to find 1 car and not a soul around so it was obvious that the abandonment had been made yesterday 🤔 So probably Yorkshire had moved camp on Tuesday afternoon and saved a few bob as they’d brought a contingent only Leeds Utd would claim to contest numbers wise .No sign of abandoned game this morning on NV Play or the Club’s official site . A poor show of communication to the public who don’t care for Elton John gigs etc . Maybe one for Muchy to fight the cause of the common man 🤔
