Frank Lampard - manager rumours

How desperate must Lampard be for a job to work with those knackers. Not to mention he'll be homesick very soon. Those southern fairies can't handle the north.

I'm not in any way claiming to be ITK, despite my background in the media, but I was at a former players' event on Tuesday when a member of our 1973 squad got a message - from a contact in Italy - saying that Lampard was set to be announced.
That's it, make of it what you will.
If it is, he can't be much worse than some of the names we've been associated with. And his name alone may help attract incoming players (if he's given any sort of budget!).
Not delighted by the news but he'd definitely help getting some decent loan players.

Wasn't Lampard supposedly spotted having a meal with Speakman this week in Cleadon but at Romano's? #pastawars
Don't know about that... but they're literally across the road from each other, those two restaurants. Good turnout on Tuesday for a do for the SFPA's secretary's 70th. Monty, Dick Malone, Mickey Horswill, Richie Pitt, Jimmy Shoulder, and Bobby Park among the group there.

He's not a premier league manager mind, and never will be again. I'm pleased it's inspired you though, a feelgood factor in this shit show is always welcome 👍
Definitely out of his depth in the premier league but nothing to suggest he couldn’t do a decent job with our young team. If nothing else I think he would inspire them and generate a bit of interest in the club again.

You’re starting to sound like Mab Bob. 😉
