Frank Lampard - manager rumours

There is that and at this level with regard loans it's maybe a bigger deal than we think, both Terry and Lampard would have that.

Not sure who has the best links / contacts but we'd probably end up with Burstow again knowing our luck 😀
I’m massively impressed when I hear Terry speak…moreso because I didn’t expect to be impressed. I think he’d be perfect, but only if supported

People also dont highlight that he got Chelsea who were under a transfer embargo - after selling their best player in Hazard - to a CL finish with the likes of Abraham, mount and Loftus cheek.
And got sacked with them 9th went to Everton awful then Chelsea second stint awful

Yeah I've always thought of him as an utter c*nt, maybe someone who was also limited upstairs, that seemed to be his persona.

Having seen him speak on things recently and talk in greater depth then my opinion on him has changed.

My issue with it is supporting him with experienced coaches and recruitment. If we don't even add some experience and quality to the team then we're all doomed anyway, let alone a young manager in his first management role supported by the likes of Dodds.

My point is mainly that you need to be fair - Yes he was poor in his last stint at Chelsea - and second season at everton (kept them up in first at least). Just posting the bad results but ignoring the good isn't balanced.

Lampard would be a sound choice imo. Couple of decent seasons with us, hopefully a promotion and he'd back in with a shout of high profile job again.

Some people saying giving the job to Lampard or Terry and they'd be done when we've been linked with a St Mirren manager and Dave Challinor. 🙈
Maybe people wouldn't be happy with any of the four, I wouldn't exactly be delighted with any of those.

Good players.

Don't think he's enough of a mug to take it. He wasn't happy with how much of a shit show Chelsea was so what is he going to think about our jokers?

If the club want to redeem themselves after the fiasco of last season and make a statement of intent then we should be talking to him.
Done ok everywhere he’s been in his short managerial career.
I’d take him tomorrow over the dross that’s getting mentioned.
I'd take any of the afore mentioned dross over him.

I don’t think they would work under Speakman and the clubs stance on transfers I’d prefer Heckingbottom he knows the club and got Sheffield united promoted. Another name mentioned is Scott Parker? Not sure

People will convince themselves any shit we're linked with are decent. See Rosenior and Challinor.
Probably yes we could do worse probably but could do a hell of a lot better whoever it it unless if we keep the awful recruitment up it won't matter anyway.
