Liam Rosenior

So you think everybody should have got behind Beale? If we appoint Shearer as Manager should everybody get behind him?
Of course. It’s not like we appointing f***ing Hitler.

The immediate reaction to Beale and his treatment by SAFC supporters was disgraceful. His accent, his appearance, everything was fair game. It was pathetic.

And as it turns out we’d have been far better off him staying for the rest of the season. The vocal ‘supporters’ are as much to blame for last season as any decision KLD or Speakman made

I’d like Rosenior but no way would I be waiting for Burnley to make their minds up on him before we make our move
Goes back to the still saga comes a time when he either wants to manage us it he doesn’t
If he wants to wait for them fine but we need to move on
You get the impression they just casually drifting through it all with no urgency it’s ridiculous

The main issue with Beale was the horrendous references he came with, and multiple well documented examples of falling out with players and staff.

All of which happened ended up happening here. That was not the fans fault.

Really thoughtless use of the word imminent though. He must have known that by using that word fans would understandably be thinking it was done bar the ink drying on the signature.
The key word was ‘Hope’ @Rocky77 said it at time it’ll do more bad than good
Imminent to us will mean few days as we’ve sat through months of rubbish
To him it could mean start of July
Naive from the owner, again

Fans fault klaxon sounded.

I agree, it was a hasty word for him to use, would have been much better if he just said he’s hope to appoint a head coach soon instead of using the word ‘imminently’.

You can't argue with any of that.

It was truly pathetic behaviour

I'd be happy enough with him after missing out on our main target. As others have said it's the fact it is still dragging on after an eternity it seems. The fact that we have not persuaded our main targets to sign. I was pretty calm and said on here i was just waiting for June 1st as thought that must have been the stumbling block. Still decided on Lens and we are now on the 12th June and IF he is now their choice we STILL haven't convinced him to actually sign a contract. That indicates differences that need ironed out.

Dan Neil and Rigg won't commit (It looks like) from we think is until a new manager is confirmed. Who can blame them. Missing out on your main target isn't always the worst thing, but we seem to miss out on our main transfer targets and end up with a inferior player these last few windows. Managers and players should be jumping at the chance to sign for a club our size (Unless offered mega money elsewhere) but we just don't seem to be able to attract them at the minute which is my biggest concern. KLD said they have all learnt on and off the pitch from last seasons mistakes, but i am wondering what them lessons learnt were ATM as it seems to be carrying on the same direction. We can only judge after the new man is in and all transfer dealings in and out are concluded but alarm bells are starting to ring for me

Heckingbottom is the backup plan if Rosenior goes to Burnley 😂

Can't wait to see the direct debit cancellations if we end up with Heckingbottom.

A man who has been out of work since 2nd December who could have been hired day after sacking Beale.

Scraping through the bottom of the barrel

Sad times ahead
Which is exactly why Heckingbottom will not get the job.

Agreed about the treatment of Beale. I was as guilty as anyone as well. Pathetic tbh

This 100%

Hi good morning. I totally get that some people on here don’t think I give a balanced view and accuse me of moaning for the sake of it,some have even said for “their own agenda” which is lost on me tbh. Moaning is fundamentally different to having serious genuine concerns about the club, an institution and football club that means the world to me and no doubt many others on here. A few weeks ago I posted a thread about what I would do to take the club forward if I was KLD. Your right to allude to the point that the success of any organisation as I said in the thread is dependent upon the competency of the people at the top running the organisation. You put to one side whether you like someone which helps but the most important aspect is are the extremely good at what they do. I don’t know Speakman at all but what I have seen and heard from him would tell me that he has a huge opinion of himself, says three words when one would do and comes across as he absolutely knows best, he has done well with certain things but he has miserably failed with the owner for well over a year now on many fronts for well over a year now. I can imagine when he is interviewing the Head Coach and whilst he and others are carrying out the interview, in reality any sensible candidate is also asking himself do I want to work with you, the owner, the transfer plans the model whatever you want to call it and for me their lies the huge problem.

Yesterday it was announced that the Championship has the second largest attendance figures in the whole of Europe after the PL, and our great club has the highest average support in that division by a country mile. The club in its selling campaign for this seasons tickets holders refers to the clubs support as a way of life” and it is, but we are not being ran well and I fear for us going forward under this regime.

The owner on Friday has said they have learnt by their mistakes both on and off the pitch, I hope he has, prof will be in the pudding but I will say this if their isn’t a change in its so called model and unless we show some ambition in bringing in quality over quantity young untried youth players regardless of who the Head Coach is we won’t be going up next season in fact we could do well to finish mid table.

Really thoughtless use of the word imminent though. He must have known that by using that word fans would understandably be thinking it was done bar the ink drying on the signature.
Exactly
He must regret using it now.
They obviously thought a deal was in place

I think the days of managers queuing up to join us are well and truly over, and from the outside looking in it really does look like we are failing to showcase the club in a good light. Head coaches/Managers want stability and control, two things this ownership can't or won't offer IMO...
