Liam Rosenior

"All at Sunderland AFC are delighted to welcome Liam as our new Head Coach. We've been following Liam's managerial career closely for some time now, and as soon as he became available we knew he was our number one choice and had to move quickly to fend off interest from other clubs." - Kristjaan Speakman

It's beginning to look like it was pure luck.
Let’s be real they lucked into mogga and Neil, Neil went after the job and mogga was hanging around like a love sick puppy dog. The two best appointments as head coach have been handed to them on a plate gift wrapped and almost pleading for the job. When they’ve had to appoint someone by you knarrr doing a bit of work and using their judgement it’s went spectacularly wrong. That’s the worry this time, it’s took so long which means a few things but it’s also piling pressure on whoever finally takes over. They are handling this about how many of us expected it to go after the Beale appointment.
As per 2nd tier podcast:

16th highest wage bill
17th most expensive squad
19th highest revenue

Finishing 7th a bad performance based on that?

Just a bit of context.
Reads a lot like mogga don’t it last season. Let’s face it he’s about the best we can get at this point and I’ve got a sneaky feeling fans are gonna really take to him here. I just hope they give him every chance to succeed here, don’t tie the lads hands from day one the start is massively important at this club see most of the managers in our recent 30 years or so the ones that get off to a good start tend to do well.

They also mentioned that he talks really well in the media, and is a very likeable character. Like every coach results will be what matters, but I can imagine him being a good fit here and our support really taking to him.

Seems like he’s ambitious and confident and hopefully won’t be phased by the job here.

Club haven't interviewed Rosenior yet face to face, all been down over Zoom and his agent in London
Is this actually true If so then they still haven’t a clue who they actually want He must be a number of candidates still under consideration otherwise they would have had him at the SOL showed him around the Academy and gave him an offer he couldn’t refuse. Unless they are just waiting for another unemployed HC or manager to become available.
