Depends on who the new man is - 99% on here knew Beale was wrong and were proved right. We're not Lemmings mate.
I was against Beale too, I wouldn't have even looked in his direction after the way he left QPR, but some of the abuse he got was slightly OOT. Ultimately people will do what they want, but we really should get behind the new manager, obviously unless they give it Dodds again

We don't have to get behind the new Manager regardless. If Speakman and Dreyfus fuck up they should be called out.

Course we do. That’s the job of a supporter ffs. Doesn’t matter if you agree or disagree with any appointment - once it’s done it’s done.

What’s there to gain by not supporting and getting behind them? So down the track you can say ‘I was right’? It becomes a self fulfilling prophecy.

You’ll find in time on the forum, that the chance to say “I was right” is the what some get off on

So you think everybody should have got behind Beale? If we appoint Shearer as Manager should everybody get behind him?

I think the intense fan backlash to Beale is the reason he was let go so soon, so in that sense it served a purpose.

I’m of the opinion that if you are sure a manager isn’t going to work out, you aren’t obliged to pretend otherwise. I thought Neil would fail, I was wrong and can hold my hands up. He won me around very quickly. I was utterly convinced Beale was a bad choice, same with Parky, and me giving them a chance wouldn’t have just because the club picked then wouldn’t have helped.

Yes

Bob Stokoe won the cup at the mags and now has a statue

Bobby moncur won their last trophy and captained safc to winning a division

Neither Neil or Mowbray were popular appointments. To certain extents they both proved doubters wrong. Beale was a shit appointment but was destined to fail before a ball was kicked because of supporter intolerance.

The likelihood is the new appointment won’t please some sections. But there’s absolutely no scenario where not getting behind the new manager will benefit SAFC.
