Are you just starting from a date that suits your narrative pal?

How about the 13th October instead?

you’re taking that quote far too literal, it’s a comparison. Stick BCB, ticket fume or owt else you fancy. It’s factual.
I chose the period post the winter transfer window, when a club that is over 145 years old with a history richer than most, apparently gave up on competitive football and thereby it's fans who pay hard earned money to enjoy their representation of our community.
There is no doubt that it was Mowbray's points that kept us up and absolutely nothing to do with anything that was overseen by our current DOF during the January transfer window.
Form from 13th October?
Don't make me laugh pal!!!!!

Can you remember after the Millwall game? The patsy to the board whinging about being frustrated because of the striker situation and the club need to sort it in the summer?
Look where that gets you ! Speakman wants a compliant cheap desperate yes man. He’s probably gutted Dodds fucked up so badly

Incorrect. You can easily share your opinion without sounding like a petulant toddler whether you support the ownership or not. Nobodies saying we should just lap up anything. Our owner literally had to make a statement about the head coach recruitment because of pressure from people kicking off. Did this happen the last time we went so long without a manager? No. Do other clubs give updates whilst they’re still in the process of recruiting? No.
Our fans are gaining a reputation and it’s not in small numbers either. The hoards that bombard the clubs social media with abusive messages, publicly insult people working for the club and tagging them in it are a big problem.

Concerns get voiced to the club via the meetings and it’s exactly how it should be. The people embarrassing themselves on social media are a hindrance to the club and it’s about time people started acting like adults in my opinion. People who have been at the club recently have publicly called out the negativity around the place and they’re not wrong. Are we where we want to be? No. Have the owners made bad decisions? Yes. I fully expected the transition from coming out of league 1 to take time and it’s exactly what it’s doing. The first season was brilliant but was never ever going to be sustained with the quality in the division the season after. Of course, it was far more disappointing than anyone expected but that does not warrant the way our fans are going on. Again, it’s all opinions but for me I just can’t understand how some are so deeply negative about absolutely everything.

That’s the biggest issue on here though. If you do voice your opinion and it differs from those for example broadly in support of the owner you are instantly labelled a bed wetter and the opposite applies if you think they’re doing a good job. People criticise and you label them as petulant toddlers for example.

The owner didn’t have to make a statement. - he hasn’t done so for ages so why the need on Friday? In doing so he has heaped yet more pressure on the recruitment team to make an appointment. If we don’t see a new head coach in place by midweek his statement makes him look pretty foolish.

Where do you get this claim that our fans are ‘getting a reputation from’ ? I’ve not seen or heard any mention anywhere on national media. In all honesty most clubs outside the premier league remain almost an irrelevance to the wider football world.

People will always look at things from a different perspective - and offer their views on message boards like this.

Your view might differ from mine but you’re perfectly entitled to hold it and share it on here.

Your original post started with "Tin hat on here but your type would seem far more suited to posting OTR with the rest of the happy clapping club sycophants. ……."

The pressure was already on the recruitment team to make an appointment and it was getting louder and louder, hence the statement. I agree it wasn't necessary but if KLD has felt the need to do so there has to be a reason for that.

I've seen plenty criticsing our fans on social media because of the way they go on and whether it makes national coverage or not it doesn't mean it's not happening. I haven't labelled everyone criticising the club as petulant toddlers however I am labelling the people who are literally tagging the likes of Speakman on Twitter or KLD on Instagram as just that. Grown blokes tagging people in their little nonsensical rants is embarassing for everyone at the club.

In what way ? Dodds implied our crap results were more to do with the team not performing rather than the makeup of it ???
He's said recruitment needs to be better and that we need to target players with championship experience.

It's comfortably the other way round now. Your sycophant post was pretty poor tbh.

If you read the posts directly above the one I replied to you would see that this was tongue in cheek!

My point is that it seems ironic in the extreme posters on here complaining about people posting with different views to their own. It’s why a message board exists !

As I mentioned to @discopants09 the line about people using terms such as OTR, bed wettest etc was tongue in cheek and in response to people complaining about the use of such terms. I apologise if it offended you.

Doesn't offend mate, not much does 😂

Apologies for not seeing it as that, it seemed like you were being serious.

This message board has been great for a long time but it's not so much these days. There aren't really any proper discussions anymore it's just people arguing and for whatever reason every thread is filled with posts slagging off the club and the owners. Everyone's entitled to their opinions, of course, but it's the same people over and over posting the same extreme views ruining the place. I don't feel like people take any pride in SAFC anymore. You can argue all you want that the owners have made mistakes because they have but I don't know when or why people's reaction turned from supporting the club to just slagging it off at any given opportunity. How have people decided that for example now is when they want to wrap in? For me, the days wondering if we'd ever get out of league one or the days of lowest points totals in the PL (twice) were far far worse than it is now.

This x100

It’s in the modern day and age of social media that it has turned into the frenzy it is. Old boys are becoming absolute bed wetters.

Mags have just released a kit that is apparently unique to them. Despite the fact it has been copied from the kit template we used in League One with the kids cancer charity. Their training gear is red and white too. Barely blinked an eyelid. Bought it in its thousands and cracked on.

We’d have fallen apart at the very seams, blamed KLD and KS whilst threatening not to renew. We’d be booing the players as a result of the kit fume. There’d be talk of protest, so called fanzines calling the owners out of the club, RAWA meetings where 90% of the chatter would be out copied kits and training gear. Then we’d start pushing our frustrations elsewhere, so we’d be kicking off that we’ve not signed anyone outside of the transfer window, no concrete fixtures in Benidorm, haven’t bought a striker in two years, crying for a solid holding midfielder, Luke Onein would be getting shat on just for caring. Players performances dip, new managers don’t care because they’ve already been booed out the door.

Tell me why the fuck would you want to manage Sunderland when you’re coming into that? (All things that are currently happening bar the kit scenario)
Even you must have been chuckling to yourself when you wrote this? 😂
